Suzy and Joel and Owen and Evie

The Fair Season is somewhere between Summer and Fall, and it’s in full swing. We’ve done the Hamburg. This is the Brooklyn. And next week: the Woodstock.

The rain held off long enough for us to have a good time, catch some rides, eat some corn dogs, and kick butt in the pedal tractor pull. Honestly, we thought that Owen faced some stiff competition from those brawny farm kids, but this contender punches above his weight!

Owen pulled the Eliminator over thirty feet – with fifteen pounds in the basket! He won his age bracket, and Evelyn put in a good pull to finish second. She went twenty-five feet, with an empty basket, but had tough competition herself.
