For some reason, merry-go-rounds are muchore plentiful in the Midwest than in New England. At least that’s been my experience.

Check out our page on the arrival of my grandfather’s tractor.

We went to Wisconsin two years ago, for my grandmother’s auction. At the time, I had no real plans to bring the tractor out (I was living in Mt. Kisco at the time). Still, I knew that eventually I’d like to have it around. I remember changing the spark plugs, getting a new battery, and maybe changing the oil. But the wheels had rusted and the tires rusted from the fluid, so I ordered new rubber all around. Just in case.

Turns out that wasn’t a bad move.
