After running some errands, Sue announced that she was NOT cooking dinner. We stopped at one place and found an hour wait. Oh yeah, Valentine’s Day. So here we are at a local eatery.

We went to the library and got library cards today, even Evie, and we got some books. (Made Gram real’ happy.) I was very surprised when I was handed the card because the picture on the front was taken in my yard. There’s no doubt that they actually walked into the yard since the tree in the foreground is in the yard. Looks like we’re not the only folks who like the view.

Our new house is across the street from McLean Game Refuge which has a great sledding hill. (You can see the house and barn in the distance.) On weekends, there will be 15 to 20 cars parked along the park road and the hill is covered with sledders. We’ve been there on busy days and when we are the only folks there and either way it’s a fun.
