Suzy and Joel and Owen and Evie

I received two little house (huisje) kits for Christmas from my brother. They are brick houses that you build using mortar and a trowel. Owen and I built this one together and once we figured out the directions—which were only in Dutch—then it went quickly. However in my haste to build it before the cement set up I didn’t follow the directions closely and had to rebuild the side window so it got a little messy. The cool thing about the kit is that you can soak the house in water and the mortar will dissolve so you can build it again with the extra mortar packets that come with.
