Dunkin Donuts has a new jelly donut with some sort of berry crumble topping that is a new favorite for some of us who like to wallow in the donut (and even get in our hair).

Owen had his last karate class today and they did a demonstration to show their karate moves and skills using the gym apparatus. Since the kids were all about Owen’s age it was a big free-for-all most of the time. The grand finale was breaking a wooden board—I don’t know if I’d willingly punch a pine board with my fist.

Owen spends hours creating accident scenes with rescue vehicles either on their way or already there. I thought it might be nice for him to create a visual narrative and set up a scene and take some pictures, then advance the story by making a new scene to show what happened next.
Owen got so involved with the original scene that he didn’t go to the next one. Here you can see Owen’s shadow as he takes a picture of the police officer keeping traffic away from the accident.
