Here’s Evelyn with her cake and it was her first taste of cake too. She’s too little for dessert other than an occasional arrowroot cookie or taste of ice cream.
Owen really wanted to get her the dump truck/digger-themed sheet cake they have at the bakery at the A&P…because for him there was really only one choice.

Here’s the best picture we have of the teeth. The two top ones look way too big for her mouth, but I suppose she’ll grow into them.
So far she’s crazy for bananas, birthday cake, and blueberry pancakes.

Yup, we’ve been a bit busy—what with two kids and all—and my computer has been acting up for months and months so we’ve let the blog slide. It kind of defeats the purpose of the blog to let it go months between entries. We did post some pictures from our Seattle trip (see left), but that’s all we could manage.Since we last posted Evelyn has learned to crawl and walk, gotten 4 teeth, and has had her first birthday. Meanwhile Owen has made great progress with his speech and has been signed up for nursery school for fall. Here they are going for a wagon ride down to the local pet store.
