Mmmmmm…rice cereal
Evelyn had her four-month check-up at the pediatrician today and apart from being the size of an average seven month old, she did get the go-ahead to have solids. She started with the traditional rice cereal and will move to yellow vegetables later in the week. She fought the spoon for a while, but eventually did eat all the food that didn’t end up on her bib. Owen had fun feeding her too and did a good job.
Our grocery store has “Recetas Latinas,” which is a new line of Gerber baby food with Hispanic-style fruits and vegetables including mangos and carne asada. She can get international cuisine before she cuts a tooth!

Now that Evelyn has almost full control of her head she can sit in the high chair. She also is starting to grab things so when we are in the kitchen she can hang out and play too.
