Early Hallowe’en Results Are In!
Owen had to go through a couple of costumes before he found one that was suitable. He just wouldn’t take to the spider costume his mommy picked up from Old Navy. At first - even though he loves fire engines - he wouldn’t even wear a fire helmet, but he is getting used to it.Part of the fun of having kids is dressing in tandem. So while Owen was a little devil, his dad dressed angelically. (Again, playing to type!) Sue should have a feature page up soon - in the meantime, check the Features to the left for a short video. We took Owen to a few of the neighbors’ houses. He’s not yet two years old, so he didn’t really get into trick-or-treating. We’re sure that he’ll be more excited next year. Until then, we’ll have to help him with his candy!
We have a lot of candy left because only a handful of kids came around. That’s what happens on the edge of town, I guess. It’s too bad, because Hallowe’en is really a chance for kids to cut loose. I mean, they don’t have to dress in their good clothes or watch their table manners. It’s all about fun!
