Off we go
About a month ago the weather improved enough that it became possible to take Owen on bike rides. The helpful folks at Bicycle World recommended this snazzy seat and helmet; a swipe of the credit card and a little bit of elbow grease later, and we were ready to roll.Owen seems to like bike rides. At the very least he doesn’t cry. We already know that Owen is an adreneline junkie, but he also points out scenery he finds interesting. The North County Trailway is a couple of miles away, which is a safe, flat place for riding, but we’ve also taken him on some of the sparsely-traveled back roads near our house.
