Dinosaurs
We went to the city on Sunday to the Museum of Naural History. One of Joel’s perks as a Citibank employee is free admission at many of the cities museums so we decided looking at animals in dioramas and dinosaur bones might be interesting for Owen. He definitely enjoyed the taxidermy and liked seeing all the other other kids. The place was totally packed with strollers and the floors were littered with lost kids’ clothing. And Joel, who rarely sees famous people in NYC, spotted the principal from the TV show “Ed”–the one who Carol was going to marry–in the dinosaur section of the museum.
Owen fell asleep just as we left so Joel and I had a nice easy lunch wih him asleep in the stroller next to us. But he did wake up for the subway ride to Grand Central and the train ride home. Unfortunately we forgot our camera and had to settle for buying a disposable one which sadly yielded very few pictures. (No surprise there.)
